Effects on Banks Lake by the Odessa Aquifer Studies:

More flow is expected to pass through Banks Lake for the foreseeable future. This additional flow could affect currents.
The additional flow is not expected to effect levels until mid Summer.

Ongoing studies to replenish the "Odessa Aquifer" WILL continue. Public Scoping Meetings began in Spring of 2009.

The scoping meetings and the final "alternatives documents" are to be completed by late 2011.

Current plans: A "Maintenance" Draw-down starting August 2011, ending March 2012.
Maintenance draw-downs typically occur every 10-15 years. Maintenance draw-downs allow all Federal, State,
City & private entities to schedule repairs and improvements in and around the entire Banks Lake area.

This information was based on our interpretation of a public meeting presented by the Bureau of
Reclamation in Grand Coulee on 03/26/2008. Be prepared to comment on the upcoming proposals.
